Pan Card
The Income Tax Department issues a PAN card containing a unique 10-digit PAN (Permanent Account Number). The PAN acts as an identity proof of an individual or entity for various purposes. All tax-related information of a person is recorded against that person’s PAN. PAN is a unique 10-digit alphanumeric character, while the PAN card is a physical or digital card containing the PAN and other important information about the person.
